In Isaiah 61, he declares that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and Jesus quoted this portion of scripture as he stood in the temple teaching before the teachers in it's fulfillment. As you pray this verse, believe and get ready for the Spirit of the Lord to be upon you for ministry. He is IN you and He will rest UPON you!

Luke 4:18-20 The Passion Translation (TPT)

18–19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope[a] for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes[b] for the blind, and to preach to prisoners,[c] ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee,[d] for the time of God’s great acceptance[e]has begun.”[f]

20 After he read this he rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the minister, and sat down. Everyone stared at Jesus, wondering what he was about to say.

Isaiah 61 (NASB)

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
