Keegan Cook just wrapped up his first year as the head coach at the University of Washington. Quite often, a new coach will find himself or herself in the situation where they are taking over a program that has performed poorly, and his/her job is to turn things around. Keegan found himself in the opposite scenario - he'd been handed the keys to F1 race car, so to speak, and was being asked to continue to drive it very, very fast.
We talk with Keegan about his path in getting to this job, and some of the challenges he faced in taking over a very good, high profile program from a very good coach. He's enormously humble, and has come a long way in just one year. His team had a great conference season and NCAA tourney run, and look to continue the success. We hope you enjoy the show!
