Valarie isn't big on social media, but she is a very committed activist in NYC. This here, is an article of her work as an organizer of New York's annual Dyke March. She also acted in a landmark film in New Queer cinema called The Watermelon Woman. You can see one of Valarie's scenes in that film here.
