The average social media marketer are like GPs.
They’re generalists. They can give vague advice on a number of subjects, like a GP can – their knowledge is broad and often subject to opinion (if you’re a woman visiting a GP with any problem and told “it’s just your hormones”, you’ll know what I mean…)
A consultant, like a cancer consultant, is a specialist – they have in-depth knowledge and real-life experience in their field. Very much unlike social media marketers.
