Over the Thanksgiving break, we received the sad news that our friend John Carlin lost his battle with ALS and passed away at age 58. Without John, our podcast wouldn't be here today, so we take some time this week to remember and thank him (1:14). Then, while it may be Week 13 of the NFL season, it's not too late to place a few playoff futures to buff up your bankroll -- we'll tell you how to navigate the late season football futures and cash in on some good numbers while they're still good (15:37). Plus, on Dr. Dangles Schaefer the Sharp comes full circle on the true fate of his Detroit Lions (7:33) and on Gravestones it's getting down to crunch time as the number of surviving teams is dwindling...on whose head will the axe fall this week? (49:19)
