Editor Dave talks about his career changes and being a mature student after going back to college at the age of 36. We also have a chat about the impact of recent times on many businesses and the importance of supporting local business especially after lockdown and Covid. After all, we call them businesses but in reality they are just people, and losing a local business we need to remember it’s not just a business, they are real people with real losses and together we can help them.

It was national NHS day yesterday, so we just want to say a big thank you to all the wonderful NHS staff that have worked so hard to help protect us all, especially in the last couple of years.

It’s also International Kissing Day on Wednesday 6th July, maybe a great excuse to give your partner a big kiss, or maybe an excuse to kiss that person you always wanted to (just get permission first if your unsure). Either way, it’s a great excuse to all remind ourselves the greatest pleasure of kissing someone for just the sake of a kiss.
