Trump's town hall meeting sponsored by CNN confirmed what we've come to know about him: he's stuck on his personal grievances, and victimhood. He launched into his belief that VP Pence should have overturned the 2020 Electoral College results. Also, Trump made it clear he would grant pardons to the majority of the convicted Jan 6 insurrectionists. Not to leave the topic, he felt the Georgia Secretary of State 'owed' him 11,780 votes, therefore he did not violate any election laws. He was unable to commit if he wanted Ukraine to prevail over Russia in the war, and strongly implied that he would reinstate the horrific zero-tolerance policy, taking children away from their parents at the southern border. What was evident from the interview: Trump hasn't evolved much from the 2016, 2020 elections. Given his responses, he's worse. Should CNN have given Trump his own platform to pontificate his warped view of past elections and the bleak future he wants America to live in?
