This week, Iβm speaking ποΈwith Kate Dingwall, a Canadian from Toronto, a very successful freelance writer β who has written for Forbes.com, The Toronto Star, Maxim, Serious Eats, π½ Elle, Liquor.com, Wine Enthusiast, π and more.
Like all entrepreneurs, Kate started out doing what we all do: hustle, email, call, and partner with those in the industry who see the potential we know is there to offer to many. Kate knew she wanted to learn the business side of our industry, so she received her Master's Degree in Luxury Brand Management from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and learned all about luxury goods, fashion, wine, π· and spirits, πΈ which has helped her immensely in her writing β career.
She has a unique lens into the world through her younger sister and how they view the world growing up in the midst of climate change. π This generation is putting more moneyπ€ and thought π€ into the brands they choose as the environment is vital to them. They, as we know, are drinking less and looking for alternatives as they strive for a healthy lifestyle. πββοΈ πββοΈ πββοΈ π΄ββοΈ

Kate is a world πtraveler and has been to amazing places like Armenia and most recently a trip to Japan to report on shochu.
