HARD OR EASY IT'S UP TO YOU! Part 1

There is nothing in life that we have to do except die before we stand in the judgment. And so it is with the God we serve. With Him there is nothing that we have to do because God will not force us to do anything not even serve Him. We are free will agents. In the Easy To Read Version in John 6 at the 67th verse it says that Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you want to leave too?” It was entirely up to them. Jesus gave them the right to choose to do as His other followers had chosen, and that was to leave. As a young single mother raising two sons as I’ve stated on many occasions it was very hard for me. I would do, as the Isralites did as they wandered through the wilderness, I murmured and complained. During those years I was very afraid. I didn’t know how I was going to make it or how any of our needs would be met, but what I did know was that I was saved and I also knew that God had a plan and calling for my life. One day as I was deep in thought I heard God speak to my spirit and say; “do you want to quit?” Do you want to stop where you are right now and not go any further?” I knew without having to hear Him say it that He was not referring to me backsliding or going back into a sinful life but rather just not moving forward. God was giving me the option of no more struggles, no more fear or depression. The choice was mine, I had to choose.
