Rob welcomes his son Spencer to the show. Spencer is joining the basketball coaching world as an assistant coach. After playing Division 3 basketball, Spencer decided to go into the profession of coaching. In pursuit of this, he found a graduate assistant (GA) basketball coaching position at Vanderbilt University, a very prestigious school and a strong conference. The SEC conference has some of the best athletes, coaches and facilities in the world. The GA position is a 2-year position where you get to learn all the ins and outs of basketball at the highest level while working on a master's degree. Spencer is now joining the staff at Eastern Florida State, a junior college that has a strong tradition of sending young basketball players to the next level. We hope you enjoy this conversation with a very new coach, but one who is driven to help young players and himself rise up in the ranks.
