After the August 9th talk had us all singing The Who (yes, Rev. Mike does sing it in this episode!) "da Rev" and Malayna talk more about the Declaration of Principles we speak each Sunday and how they are indeed political -- though he tried to keep it from going there on Sunday. How can our ways of identifying ourselves and our tribe be broadened to connect with other tribes work together? Shifting from a consciousness of consumption... Looking for hope in young leaders like the Mayor of Compton... Leaning more into our spiritual practices aligns us with love, and then we act from that place. Sounds easy, doesn't it? And math. We need math.
