Joining Three Distinct Knocks this week is Brother T.S. Akers, a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, is the Curator of Collections for the McAlester Valley of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He has written extensively on the history of Freemasonry in Oklahoma, including the essential volume Knights on the Prairie: A History of Templary in Oklahoma. Akers’ paper “The Legacy of Regimental Lodges” was recently published in Philalethes: The Journal of Masonic Research & Letters.
