Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on many occasions used a modern revision of the words of abolitionist minister, Theodore Parker, when he told us, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."
In today's episode, we join our guest host, Brian Fox of Fox Brewery in West Des Moines as we seek to understand just what we mean by social justice and what the role of music is in that search. More specifically, what role did music play in our own lives to help us develop at least some sense of morality in regard to social justice.
Heavy topic, but a great discussion...after the first three beers had disappeared. Please consider visiting Fox Brewery (103 South 11th St. / West Des Moines, IA) and chat it up with Brian and his patrons. We're sure you'll enjoy the visit.
As always...thanks for listening.
