S5 Ep 86: Ladies, listen up, if you have not watched P-Valley on Starz, you are missing out! In this episode, from the pole to the palace, I share my thoughts of the season finale, when I tell you I can't wait for next season, I'm more than ready to see what Katori Hall, creator and writer is up to! Speaking of from the pole to the palace, did you all catch the exchanges between Cardi B and Candance Owens? Are you ladies even familiar with who Candance is? Well, Candace is an anti-black, African American woman, conservative and Trump supporter, who went viral after the killing of George Floyd. Candance recently was interviewed, where she called Cardi B an "illiterate puppet" that is being used by Joe Biden and the democratic party because she's "dumb", Candace believes that the democratic party is the demise of black Americans. Also heard in this episode, I share my thoughts on the Brandy vs Monica Verzuz battle, the spin off of Power and a new book and series that I'm both reading and watching at the same damn time, "Lovecraft Country," okay, I know in this episode I said I wouldn't watch the series until I finished the book but OMG, the book is so good, I couldn't resist myself! Of course, there are some clear and evident discrepancies in the series but isn't it always, personally, I wish they would have stuck to the book but as a "movie critic", I can understand why they would change certain things, but still.
