After a major incident occurs inside a prison / correctional facility, like a riot or a death of a staff member, tension will arise. Tension arises because both frontline and management are looking to alleviate responsibility. Instead of us working together as one, especially in this time of crisis, we are divided. (The nature of the beast.) This vlog is an effort to build an understanding of both perspectives. Again, this is not an attempt to point blame on either end, but rather an attempt to highlight an objective perspective of what is going on in the heads of both frontline staff and management. It’s also an attempt to bring about the needed dialogue that can help build a bridge instead of keeping us in isolation of each other.
