"Inindo: Defeat Nobunaga" made its debut on the PC-8801 platform on July 19, 1991, amid Japan's booming gaming scene. Inindo combines historical narratives with mythological yokai and a dash of grand strategy, making it a unique and uneven experience. Inindo was produced by Kou Shibusawa, a few years before Koei's transition into a publicly-traded company. The unique soundtrack composed by Fiori Wakakuwa of "hyym," is a mixed-bag, but it succeeds in setting the game's feudal Japanese tone. It's a broken game yet we still love it.
