How do we effectively educate our children? What makes a good education system? These are real fundamental questions. David Kirp a professor at the University of California, Berkeley has spent time researching this issue in public schools that have started approaching the methods of education differently. He has written a new book called “Improbable Scholars” where he writes about real life examples he has investigated. David shares how we can educate students and not discard the slow learners, the special education kids, older teachers or students whose first language is not English.
