On today’s podcast we have Dr Dan Pronk. Dan has served on over 100 combat missions in Afghanistan as a frontline special forces combat doctor. He was awarded a Commendation for Distinguished Service for his conduct in combat and upon discharge after 5 years of service, Dan completed an MBA and moved into medical and leadership roles. He is known as Dr Dan on SAS Australia, and is the author of two books, ‘The Resilience Shield’ and his newest publish, ‘The Combat Doctor’.

What I love about this conversation is Dan’s openness, vulnerability and self-awareness. You can go in conversation anywhere with Dan, which really provided the freedom to go deep into self-worth, identity, purpose, combat, the loss of fellow soldiers, PTSD, the effects on home life, and how him being the sum total of all of his experiences brought him to not only understanding psychologically but also scientifically the art and importance of resilience and post traumatic growth. Let’s just say, it’s a good one!

Please enjoy this conversation with Dan.
