On today’s podcast we have David Knoff. David is a specialist in remote leadership, management in isolation, Antarctic operations, resilience and mental health strategies. He has worked for 15 years in the Australian Army and in international relations with the Australian Government. He is a speaker and author of 537 Days of Winter which is a beautiful memoir that explores his mental limits as an expedition and station leader for the Australian Antarctic Program.
What I love about this conversation is David’s strong leadership that is founded in the energy of strategy, humanity and getting the best outcome for both the program and people involved. He shares his mental and emotional experiences of spending 537 Days as a station leader in Antarctica and the challenges that come along the way in combination of remote leadership during a global pandemic.
Please enjoy this fascinating conversation with David.
