Without Chanukah and the courage of the Maccabees to resist the imposing government at that time, Christmas wouldn't exist.
How wonderful that we get to celebrate the Light of the World in the darkest season of the year Kislev. This season is a time of dreams, hope, looking to the future - it is a perfect time for Yeshua to come and be in the temple.
