May 5th, 1993 the small town of West Memphis was shocked by the brutal murders of three eight year old boys. Instantly the case gains national media coverage. This puts pressure on West Memphis Police Department, they have to act quickly and put the murderer behind bars. Following the easiest option given to them, they play into the 90's horror of satanic panic. They needed someone easy to pin these murders on. Who would commit these acts of satanic crime? Of course, the eighteen year old goth kid who stood out in a small town, and two other teens who listened to metal. Was this a modern day witch trial?
