We welcome Derek Olson to the show! Derek is an explorer in the world of ancient history, from Egypt to Peru and around the world. Megalithic structures, the pyramids of Egypt, and so much more. Uncovering the mysteries that our history text books sometimes ignore! On today's show, we discuss giants. Bones that have been found around the world, from elongated skulls in Puru to North American burial mounds. So much of our history talks of giants and creatures that appear in different cultures around the world. Some of these creatures have been recalled even in recent times. Abraham Lincoln's famous quote about giants while giving a speech at Niagara Falls. "The eyes of that species of extinct giants whose bones fill the Mounds of America have gazed on Niagara as ours do now." To the Giant of Kandahar that was reportedly killed in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan. We had a super interesting conversation with Derek today, who shared with us some of his wealth of knowledge about our mysterious ancient history.
