Today I sit wth Alli Jo, of Alli Jo’s Swim school, and more passionately, she founded and works with Project Connect (17:00.) They work with Monarch School, which is a school for homeless kids. They provide a Thanksgiving festival to provide a wonderful, normalized Thanksgiving dinner and events to a group that normally does not have what we take for granted. Great meal, then festival – dancing, carnival games, prizes, petting zoo and more. This event is 100% volunteer driven and everything is donated. One guy is organizing the cooking and delivery of 50 turkeys in a turkey caravan across the Coronado bridge!
