Ashley Cook, a therapist that specializes in dual diagnosis patients is our special guest. We find out that she is Nicolette’s therapist who has shared her compelling story with us in episodes 12 and 13 and we believe that Ashley has saved and continues to save Nicolette’s life. We talk about the amazing rescue of the 12 Thailand Cave boys and their coach. Then we get to hear Ashley’s unique life story. She shares her story of her first love in high school that ended up getting addicted. Her Stepdad relapsing on Meth and the struggle the family had to endure with that. We learn about her 1st narcissistic, controlling husband that was constantly after other women, even while she was pregnant. We are so shocked when she tells us about the incident when her Step Mom stabbed her Dad in front of her at age 8. Ashley tells us about how she met her second husband who was a widower with a little girl, who sadly also turned out to be controlling and who suffered from PTSD. You can contact Ashley at her clinic in Southlake, Compassionate Solutions https://cstherapists.com/
