We celebrate International Women's Day this month. International Women's Day is a global celebration highlighting women's cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements. It is observed yearly on March 8th. This year’s theme is 'Break the Bias', which focuses on a gender-equal world.
So in today's conversation, you will hear from Sandi Chimpala. Sandi has been Technology Blogger for eight years, and she is also a Digital Media Strategist. We spoke about what it is like working in the tech field, how she combats biases in the industry, the best aspects of working in the tech field, and how it has changed over the years. She also left some great advice for those listening and is interested in joining the tech field. The one that stood out to me is that you must always read as the industry is constantly evolving, and for you to know your next move in marketing a product or anything for that matter- you must read!
