Monday Night Football returned to the city of Jacksonville for the first time since 2011, but it ended up being a night that Jags fans would rather forget. Not only did the team lose by a score of 34-31, but they also gave the fanbase a scare as Trevor Lawrence sustained an ankle injury that ended up being better than expected.
Im this week's episode of "Touchdown Jaguars!", Jay broke down Lawrence's injury situation and the other injuries that the Jags exited MNF with. While Lawrence avoided a catastrophe, receiver Christian Kirk wasn't as lucky and it appears the Jags will need some young players to step up for him and some others like Tre Herndon.
When it comes to the game itself, Jay broke down the biggest issue with the Jags' defense, which gave up almost 500 yards to Jake Browning and Co. Then on the offensive end, he discussed the offensive line and why drastic changes need to be made there if the team is to have a chance at becoming elite.

In November 1993, the NFL owners voted 26–2 in favor of awarding the 30th franchise to Jacksonville. James and Phil have been fans of the franchise ever since and have had the honor (and sometimes dishonor) of covering the team professionally since 2017. The rest as they say, is history.
