The Everglades Challenge is one of several events that are annually organized by the “Watertribe” organization. This challenge is held during the first week of March, each year, and involves a 300-mile (500 km) trip by boat down the coast of Florida, within one week. This event is a great adventure in it’s own right, but it is also a great way to learn about and prepare for other small-boat voyages. Watertribe events do have a registration fee, and the registration deadline for the Everglades Challenge is January 31.
