Traveling with children can be an experience and if you are not prepared it can be an experience you do not want to repeat. In today's podcast, we give you some helpful hints on making a journey with children easier.
We talk about planning your trip, things to bring along on the trip, and most important the amount of time you will need to schedule your trip because unlike a journey with only adults you need to allocate more time to get from point A to point B.
You make ask yourself how can I give you advice on traveling with children, do I have children of my own and have I traveled with them? The answer to that question is yes I do have children and we have put many miles on the highways and byways of America with our children.
It didn't start off easy but we made it happen considering we were thrown into the fire when it came to traveling with children. My wife and I became foster parents thinking this will be a way to have a baby since we couldn't have one the old fashion way. One day we got the phone call but it was not a baby then needed a home for, instead it was 4 children who needed a home for a month. Well a year later we adopted the children and in a month we were taking a long-distance car trip when we moved 1000 miles away.
That trip was followed up with many others so this advice comes from someone who has been there, done that.
