Bigfoot, Maine’s White Walker, Kiwakwa, Chenoo, Great Big Witch or the Ice Giant. It doesn’t matter what you call it, because it will eat your soul anyway. On tonight’s episode Brett and Harley head back east to discuss Bangor Maine’s Ice Giant. There are several versions of the legend around this cryptid and they are all terrifying.
The written stories date back to the 1800s, but the tribal accounts go back much further. We discuss the origin stories, how many ways this creature can kill you, where to go to have the best chance of being killed by this beast, and the very limited ways that you might defend yourself from it’s fury.
We also cover the town of Bangor, ME. How do you pronounce Bangor? Other than having your soul devoured by the Kiwakwa, what else is there to do in Bangor? The biggest mystery of all…Can you really get good BBQ and hear good blues in Bangor?
