It’s 2012. Dawn Pasela, a trusting and fierce advocate for justice, has just realized the unimaginable — the prosecutors she works for are hiding evidence to keep innocent people imprisoned for mortgage fraud.
She’s threatened to stay silent, but she’s determined to testify against them and do what’s right. She never got the chance. Just as Dawn is supposed to testify, she’s found dead in her apartment under suspicious circumstances.
