Bruno Garcia Fermiano is a Brazilian trumpet player, writer, owner of the largest trumpet website in Brazil and one of the organizers of the Jazz Trumpet Festival, the Sao Paulo Trumpet Academy and the Sax Fest Brazil. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1984. At 10, he started playing trumpet in a school marching band. At 15, he started taking trumpet lessons. He received a Bachelor in Music in Trumpet Performance from the Faculdade Mozarteum de Sao Paulo and in 2010, he attended Eastern Kentucky University as a guest student. Back in his native Brazil, he has played in many musical shows having a busy freelancer career in Sao Paulo. Beside being a freelancer musician, he is the owner of the largest trumpet website in Brazil called Trumpet Articles. Since 2013, he has been one of the organizers of the Jazz Trumpet Festival which has brought to Brazil international artists as Eric Miyashiro, Greg Gisbert, Allen Vizzutti, Byron Stripling, Thomas Gansch, Adam Rapa, Jon Faddis, Teus Nobel, Yturvides Vilchez and Bobby Shew. In 2017, he is helping to organize the first edition of the Sao Paulo Trumpet Academy in which the main purpose is to develop an information exchange among teachers of American universities and Brazilian trumpet players in order to develop the Brazilian trumpet community.
