Strong leadership comes down to getting results and that comes from getting buy in for a topic or cause, the support to make an inspiring vision come true and of course a level of accountability to step up, especially when things are hard or have gone wrong. And this is where communities come to play. Especially the last few years, communities have seen an increase in popularity, relevance and importance and that’s for a good reason. However, in the second there are emotions, different agendas as well as competing priorities are involved, it takes the complexities how to actually achieve results to another level. Today we are joined by Elise Green, the Founder and Chief Problem Solver at Assent Communication who provide COMMUNIGAGEMENT - communications advisory services that facilitate problem-solving between government and communities. She has mastered the art and science of becoming a translator of 2 very different parties by developing not only a solid framework around her expertise for herself but helping her clients build StoryFrameworks so they can convey their message effectively by establishing mutual understanding, shared goals, and commitment to action between government and communities.
