Director/Podcast Producer Cody Ziglar and director Austin Kolodney (aka the Spice Boys) guest on this week’s episode to discuss their shared dislike of Sauerkraut. In a round of Real Food or Real Gross, Winston offers up Alaskan Stinkheads (dried fish heads) or Canadian Lakestiff (lake shrimp fermented in a stomach) while David poses ouabain (sauna eggs) and kumis (a liquor derived from camel’s milk) for the game. For the tasting, canned sauerkraut, homemade cabbage sauerkraut and brussel sprouts kraut, a sweeter german style kraut with kielbasa and a cocktail called a Caraway Fizz with aquavit and sauerkraut juice are all served to the Spice Boys.
