Bayard Rustin is the often overlooked Black, Gay pioneering human rights activist.

The documentary "Brother Outsider" tells of how Bayard learned the ways of peaceful protest and assembly then applied them to organize the civil rights marches on Washington, DC and in Selma, Alabama in the early 1960's

Get a deeper perspective on the importance of Bayard as I speak with Walter Naegle, Bayard's longterm partner, educator and lecturer on the amazing legacy of the human Bayard Rustin.
