Pastor Joseph Johnson joined me for part 2 of the conversation on Culture’s Influence on the Church tonight and it was a deep dive into the Word of God.
The key elements were:
- We must know that we are in a fight. We have an adversary in the devil who seeks our destruction; if we are unaware, we will not be prepared.
- We must understand that the Kingdom of Darkness has a purpose to persecute (wear us down). Daniel 7 clarifies this point.
- We must also acknowledge and walk in the purpose of the Kingdom of God which is to reflect the image of God to the lost.
- Lastly, we address the fact that watching, praying, and persevering are essential elements for guerilla warriors in spiritual warfare. This process is a continual one about which we must be vigilant.
