Allison Schumacher gives us the scoop on a collaboration between the University of Missouri and Texas Parks and Wildlife to utilize drones equipped with thermal imagery to fly over roosted birds in order to gain much needed population data. Derek Alkire, NWTF District Biologist, talks the use of drones for controlling invasive plants and for prescribed fire.
