SARP stands for the SAG-AFTRA Radio Plays Committee, located in Los Angeles, CA. The SAG-AFTRA Radio Plays Committee (SARP) produces radio plays and workshops that provide an opportunity for members to showcase their talent(s) to as many people in and out of the entertainment industry as they possibly can in a fun, safe, clean, diverse, supportive, entertaining and educational environment. By producing and workshopping these events, the committee illuminates and illustrates the origins of SAG-AFTRA’s past and encourages members to become more involved in their union through performance and leadership. Events take place at both the SAG-AFTRA Plaza and the Autry Museum in Griffith Park, and are open to the public as well as the industry. Do you remember a time when wars were cold and people fought them in the shadows? It was a time of spies and secrets with each side trying to outdo the other using any means necessary. Join us as we drop in on a highly classified meeting at the Pentagon in Washington D.C., where even the uncanny is not off the table, in the play "Spooky"! Tonight’s bonus episode was written, directed, and edited by Josh Horowitz Heard in tonight’s play were: Josh Horowitz as the KGB Scientist Amalisha as Katya Michael Carnegie as the Military Aide and Spy 2 Bob Telford as Colonel Sweeney Chris Frost as Agent Lansing Nancy Wilson as Agent Meadows Dea McAllister as Vasimovna and the Room Service Lady Dana Kelly Jr. as Deputy Director Cartwright and the President’s Aide James Tripp as Agent Gusterson Beth Damiano as Patty David Westberg as the Doctor and the President Rick Scarry as Spy 1 and Narrator Music and sound effects from FreeSound.org Additional music arranged and performed by Josh Horowitz Logo design by Michael Dern Learn more about the show at www.twelvechimesradio.com.
