Humans are extraordinarily majestic when it comes to the arts and sciences, and as we move into the future where technology — computers, AI (if we ever help truly intelligent synthetic beings evolve), robots, etc. — can take over the jobs that we humans find boring or dangerous in a bothersome way, humanity will become far more free to focus on exploring and creating new art and science.

So what is art? What is science?

Art is the emotional connection and communication with various media — the two-dimensional relationship between you and your medium, or you and your audience (via a medium/media). Art is the individual, subjective stories of what it’s like to be an individual relating to someone or something else in our big ol’ universe.

And science is taking two more more of those art stories and simplifying, analyzing, and comparing them to one another, collectively, to find the important similarities and differences so that we can generate a more broad, literally objective, view of reality.

art + art = science

art + art = science

The Big Picture:

My big goal that is getting very much closer, thanks to generous donations, is starting a non-profit community resource hub with resident artists, techies, and educators all working with the community to find creative solutions using available resources to serve the needs of the community members freely and unconditionally so that everyone can be their best possible selves. I’m currently (Summer 2018) starting to seriously look for (very cheap) property, ideally an old farm, probably in mid-coast Maine, and seeking folks who can help figure out the legal stuff of starting a non-profit or whatever, and putting the property into a trust so that it’s always there to serve the needs of those who live there.

I’ve also created a Patreon creator account for those who believe that my work is valuable and who have an excess number of banking points (aka $’s, £’s, ¥, or whatever).
