If you’re looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of your use of daily household products, Purafide can help. Their bamboo paper towels are more sustainable than traditional paper towels, offering a greener alternative that helps prevent deforestation.

Purafide created its products taking into account insights from a report published by Inhabitat, an online source of environmental news, which found that over 135,000 trees are cut down each day to produce toilet paper and paper towels. The report explains that if production continues at its current rate, rainforests worldwide could be depleted within 70 years.

Purafide offers a viable alternative if you want an eco-friendly alternative to paper-based products - its towels are made from bamboo, a highly sustainable solution as the plant can regrow much faster and requires significantly less water. Bamboo paper towels are also more durable than their paper-based counterparts as bamboo fiber is 10 times stronger than wood fiber, the manufacturer explains.

Purafide’s bamboo paper towels are highly absorbent, featuring 2-ply, 22 GSM thick sheets. They are also free from the toxic chemicals that are often found in regular paper towels such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and formaldehyde. The product is also suitable if you have sensitive skin, as bamboo paper is also naturally hypoallergenic, making it a gentler option for everyday use.

Alongside paper towels, Purafide also produces eco-friendly bamboo toilet paper, with combo packs containing both toilet paper and paper towels available. The company also produces air purifiers with advanced filtration systems that eliminate airborne pollutants for a cleaner and more hygienic indoor living environment.

Purafide is a family-owned company based in Austin, Texas that ships its products across the United States. The company is led by Wade Zunker, a US Marine veteran, and his wife, Rachel Zunker, who collectively have decades of experience in leadership positions at Fortune 100 companies.

“Our mission is to produce products that empower our customers to make a meaningful, healthy difference in their lives and the world around them,” explains a spokesperson for the company. “By launching 100% pure, all-natural, and sustainably sourced bamboo products, we hope to make a difference to our customers and our planet for future generations.”
