Sean Fitzpatrick from Local 3 IBEW and Bill Lacey from the NYC Carpenters will be stopping into studio to chat up the 220 coalition, we’ll be giving the official UCOMM phone call to Paul Cameron from Local 459 in PA, he’s got some awesome union organizing news. An impasse was declared so UCOMM Intern Dan Hinton grabbed some audio from the Court Officers in Nassau County. Plus we chat up why we need an Assault Bill for Utility Workers, IBEW Local 97’s Dan Machold gives us the skinny on that, and as always the UCOMM News Network, 3 minutes with Workers Independent News, this week in twitter, and a few new tunes from AWOLNation - we have a pair of tickets to give away for their show at Irving Plaza on June 27th.
