It's been a long time coming, we are happy to bring you our first syndicated show as 77 WABC rolls out the red carpet for UCOMM Radio. Robert Holst of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 NYC from the Middle Class Action Project in Staten Island calls in to promote his grassroots organization and the Communications Workers of America and Cablevision came to a historic deal, so we'll get Tony Spina from Local 1109 in Brooklyn on the horn. We sent the staff from UCOMM Communications to the Academy Awards so Brian Young aka Clark, gives us an exclusive report from the Red Carpet. We got some confessions from an anti-union NY Times columnist about how he has been wrong and we report some great news on the recently settled Fairpoint Communications strike in New England and always the UCOMM News Network, the UCOMM Radio Sports Report with JAMO, the Red Hot Albany Minute with Glen Casey, this week in twitter and a few new alt rock tunes...77 WABC New York is based in Penn Station, NYC and its AM signal reaches listeners across the Tri-State region which includes all of New York's 5 boroughs, New Jersey, Westchester, Long Island and Connecticut's Fairfield County. With a 50,000 watt signal, 77 WABC is legendary boasting its marketing tagline; "Where New York comes to talk."
