Unbreakable Links is a creative collaboration between two friends, Amy Somers and Kate Erlenbusch. The name itself comes from a line in Mary Oliver’s essay collection Upstream: “I would say that there exist a thousand unbreakable links between each of us and everything else, and that our dignity and our chances are one.” Through the podcast we engage in conversations about what it means to live a connected life; how seemingly disparate ideas are interconnected; how ideologies either support or undermine our sense of connection – to each other and the earth. We examine the ways in which we are falsely divided and what it will take to remember our interdependence.
