The lessons that rookie Dave Camara learned were taught by two of the greatest drivers on dirt: “Jumpin’” Jack Johnson and “Barefoot” Bob McCreadie. He brought Vermont to victory lane in far-off places like Cornwall, Frogtown, Granby, Can-Am, and his beloved Fonda Speedway, as well as locally at Devil’s Bowl and Albany-Saratoga. After 13 years away from the sport, he returns behind the wheel in 2023 with Moody Mile Motorsports at Fonda and on the Short Track Super Series.
