Jay sits down with the owner of Leiper’s Fork Distillery, Lee Kennedy, and talks about how he got his start in whiskey and what it took to get his own distillery going. Lee breaks down how Tennessee became a landmark location for whiskey production, the history of his distillery and how they took an 1820's log cabin and embarked on the long road to rebuild it and turn a profit. Jay and Lee also do some taste testing as Lee breaks down how to drink whiskey and what to look for in a great whiskey. They wrap up their conversation with Lee giving Jay a full tour of their distillery floor, and Lee talks about everything that goes into the distilling process.
