For our March "Under The Hood", we welcome Peggy Northrop who is the President of Northrop Consulting LLC, CEO Emeritus of Watermark, Member of the Board of directors at UPWARD Women and Investing Member at Portfolia.
Peggy started her career as a journalist and was an award-winning Editor-in-Chief for a number of print and digital publications, including More, Reader’s Digest and Sunset Publishing, and served in senior editorial positions at iconic women’s media brands such as Vogue, Glamour and Real Simple.
A cofounder of the e-book company Shebooks (acquired in 2017), she works as a communications consultant, advising brands like Airbnb and AARP on their storytelling and content strategies. Peggy is currently an advisor with Kyndr by Infiniscape , a new social media start-up. She has also served on the board of a community newspaper and is a trustee of Washington & Jefferson College.
