We're half way through the summer deep series, and it feels like I'm just getting started. While I like all of these mixes for a variety of reasons (usually mood), I have to say this mix really packs a punch with back to back top notch tunes. That's right, no HHH ½ filler here. Often times, the mixes are only as good as the song selection. Granted, wading through 500+ songs and narrowing it down to a fraction of that amount is no easy task. I typically don't spend much time previewing. I'll drop in the song towards the beginning and then skip to the middle. If the song hasn't grabbed my attention by that point, I hit the delete button. Yeah I know, I can be tough and may even be bypassing a gem, but it's a system that has served me well and this mix only proves that. I'll be previewing the 4th and final volume this morning as I head out the door with my husband. We've been reduced to a one car family at the moment, so I take him to work out of town. That's okay. It gives me a chance to listen to the mixes before giving my final stamp of approval. Based on preliminary previews, I do believe the final installment is equally HOT!
