On this week's episode of The Undone Redone Podcast, Tray and Melody chat with author and speaker Sharon Hersh. Sharon shares the idea that addiction can be a gift and that oftentimes the areas that are shattered by trauma and betrayal are the areas that needed to be addressed in a marriage. Sharon explains it does not excuse the abuser for creating the trauma in the relationship, but that the brokenness that comes from addiction helps to create a new paradigm in the relationship that can be the catalyst to break free from addiction as a whole.

Ms. Hersh received an M.A. from Colorado Christian University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is the mother of two college-aged children and she is a frequent speaker at universities, seminaries, conferences, and retreats. Sharon has written numerous books such as Bravehearts: Unlocking the Courage to Love with Abandon, Mom, Sex Is No Big Deal, and The Last Addiction. Our listeners can learn more about Sharon by visiting http://www.sharonhersh.com/ and purchase her books on Amazon. This a phenomenal episode for anyone struggling in their marriage and we strongly recommend you check out Sharon's Book, The Last Addiction on Amazon.
