Last Week's Message from Rev. Shawn

Living From the Super-consciousness

"Rethinking Our Past"

Hey Unity,

It’s important that we remember our past so that we don’t need to repeat it. At the same time, we don’t need to keep reliving it either. We are not who we were then; so it’s best to allow ourselves to be who we are now, even though we can’t define who we are now.

In rethinking our past, let’s ask Spirit within us to give us new/True information about it so that the best reason to look at our past is to use it to love ourselves and help others.

We need to transform and alchemize our past into something extremely useful and valuable in our present.

So, if you find yourself with regrets for the past, please remind yourself that there is good to be found in any kind of past and that you are willing to see it. Don’t fight it. Just do your best to take your story out of it and let the Truth of God become alive in it. Affirm that you are loved and cannot not be loved, and notice how the past is transforming into a wise present.

“I have no real past, just stories I have told myself based on experiences I think I have had. Now I see them differently and I can be glad for the new experience.”

Grateful For You Now,

Rev. Shawn
