Before he was an adult, Maz Moini had lived in three countries, learned several languages and adapted to completely different cultures. All along he carried with him a lesson from his parents, that he was an ambassador of not just his family, but his culture and background.
For many immigrants to Canada, expectations are high. After all, people make great sacrifices to come to Canada, and expect their children to honor those sacrifices. That was true for Maz as well.
Today, Maz Moini is a successful entrepreneur. What he learned from his journey to Canada, and the things his parents taught him have given him the mental resilience to succeed and forge a new path forward for himself and his children.
