Bill Haroldson is a historian and president of the South Whidbey Historical Society & Museum. The area is host to a legend of a mysterious shipwreck that some have claimed to pre-date the arrival of Captain Vancouver while others have debated its very existence. Haroldson discusses the history of the legend and his theory that it might be tied to a ship that disappeared in the mid-1800s, said to have met a violent end after the Point Elliot Treaty.
